Addressing Vibration Risks with Buildoc’s Innovative Solutions
Earthquakes pose a major risk to cities worldwide, while vibrations from transportation, construction, and industrial activities, though less severe, can affect sensitive equipment and buildings. Buildoc, founded in 2019, is a company focused on structural engineering studies to mitigate the effects of such vibrations.
Development of the Buildoser Device
Buildoc developed the Buildoser, a portable device designed to assess structural vulnerabilities. The device, equipped with a wave generator and sensors, underwent various design phases between 2019 and 2023, including frame modifications, battery replacement, and other improvements. In 2021, Buildoc submitted a patent for the device.
Software Development and Market Interest
By 2022, the company developed software for the Buildoser and received interest from construction companies. In 2023, they secured two Letters of Intent and enhanced the product’s user interface, gaining more interest from companies in Iran.
ISO Certification and Ongoing Product Evolution
In mid-2024, Buildoser was awarded ISO 16587:2004, Mechanical vibration and shock-Performance parameters for condition monitoring of structures. The company continues to evolve its product and maintain a strong online presence.
