Addressing Medication Challenges with Intelligent Inhalation Devices
Numerous people in Canada and around the world rely heavily on inhalers, facing challenges in adhering to their medication regimens, especially among vulnerable populations. To address the needs of these high-risk individuals, we introduce the concept of intelligent inhalation devices.
NanoIn: Revolutionizing Inhalation Technology
NanoIn is an innovative medical device that represents a significant advancement in inhalation technology, aiming for unparalleled effectiveness. The device integrates a sensor as an extension to conventional inhalers, incorporating a GPS plugin for precise spray usage tracking.
Advanced Data Transmission and Patient Monitoring
Data transmission seamlessly occurs from the sensor to the app via Wi-Fi. Patients can install the accompanying app on their smartphones to access valuable information. This data could form an integral part of disease control programs overseen by physicians, leveraging a digital platform equipped with purpose-built sensors for recording and transmitting therapeutic data.
Patent Submission and Prototype Development
This innovative development was submitted for patent on February 11, 2021, to protect its intellectual property in all PCT-approved countries. The prototype was initially developed using a Bluetooth module and later refined with a lighter, smaller design and a Wi-Fi module for extended network reach.
Positive Feedback and Market Outreach
During testing, the device garnered interest from several physicians in Iran who expressed positive feedback. To advance marketing efforts, the team also developed a website, LinkedIn, and Instagram pages to promote their product and showcase its unique capabilities.
